I make a similar smoothie with a few changes:

1 medium apple, cubed
1 orange, peeled, seeded
1/2 tangerine, cubed
4-6 frozen strawberries, chopped
1/4 c. frozen blueberries
1 slice lemon, peeled
2 c. fresh spinach
1/2 c. water

Add fruit to blender w/ softer fruit on bottom. Add half water and blend until smooth. Add spinach then remainder of water and blend thoroughly. Let it stand for 2-3 minutes and spinach will rise to the top. Blend 1 final time and serve! Yields 2-3 servings

really good, it needs to be cold though! I put ice in mine, then stuck it in the freezer for 10 mins. You could also freeze the banana. Thanks for the recipe!:)

I missed this message before Thanksgiving unfortunately. I put on at least ten pounds in the month surrounding the food explosion that was Thanksgiving at my house this year. EVERYTHING was cooked in bacon fat (don't get me wrong, it was delicious.)
I am going to bookmark this page and keep it through Christmas with my inlaws and hopefully be given the responsibility of veggies for dinner.
