makes 4 servings (2 tablespoons per serving)
This recipe was adapted from a raw fudge sauce on one of my favorite blogs: Kimberly Snyder. I used figs instead of raisins and added some almond milk for a creamier consistency. Turned out amazing!
- 1/2 cup raw organic cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup light agave nectar
- 2 dried figs
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Soak figs in water for at least 1 hour. Blend soaked figs, cocoa powder, agave nectar, and almond milk until smooth.

BALANCE IT OUT: Serve this chocolate sauce drizzled over sorbet, mixed with yogurt, or as a dipping sauce for fresh fruit.
